The previous generation of researchers, while relying on the unidirectional logic of Putnam’s theory, assumed that these changes are stemmed from the reduction of institutional trust. Today, multiple rationales have been proposed for relationship between institutional trust and types of political participation. Drawing on Iekeda’s theory which differentiates four distinct patterns of relationship between institutional trust and political participation, this article adopts a quantitative survey method and investigates two active and passive forms of political participation and its relationship with the dimensions of institutional trust among the inhabitants of Shiraz city. The sampling method was quota random stratified method, and a questionnaire was used for data collection. According to the results of the research, the highest and lowest degrees of political participation were respectively participation in elections and participation in political protests. The correlation of the variables such as performance of the executives, perception of the authorities’ characteristics, and functions of institutions with passive political participation was shown to be direct and significantly positive. However, only the variable of the perception of the authorities’ characteristics appeared to be significantly positively correlated with the active type of participation. The most influential variables on the passive and active political participation were the perception of the performance of the executives and gender, respectively. Findings of the study enabled the researcher to conclude that the differentiation of and attention to the types of political participation, in general, and the identification of factors affecting the active type of participation, in particular, call for special attention from the researchers.  }, keywords = {passive political participation,active political participation,Institutional Trust,Shiraz city}, title_fa = {بررسی رابطه اعتماد نهادی با گونه‌های مشارکت سیاسی (مورد مطالعه شهروندان بالای 18 سال ساکن شهر شیراز)}, abstract_fa = {در سه دهه اخیر، در اکثر کشورها، تغییر درکمیت مشارکت سیاسی با افزایش گونه‌های غیررسمی آن همراه بوده است. محققان پیشین با تکیه بر منطق تک‌جهتی نظریه پوتنام، تغییرات بالا را ناشی از کاهش اعتماد نهادی می‌دانستند. امروزه منطق‌های چندگانه‌ای درخصوص رابطه اعتماد نهادی و گونه‌های مشارکت سیاسی طرح شده‌ است. مقاله حاضر بر اساس نظریه آیکدا که چهار الگوی متمایز رابطه اعتماد نهادی و مشارکت سیاسی را از هم تفکیک کرده، با روش کمی‌ـ پیمایشی، وضعیت مشارکت سیاسی شهروندان شهر شیراز در دو گونه منفعلانه و فعالانه، و رابطه آنها با ابعاد اعتماد نهادی را بررسی کرده است. ابزار جمع‌آوری داده‌ها پرسشنامه، و روش نمونه‌گیری، نمونه‌گیری طبقه‏‏ای تصادفی متناسب با حجم بوده است. بر اساس نتایج تحقیق، بیشترین و کمترین نوع مشارکت سیاسی، شرکت در انتخابات و شرکت در اعتراض‌های سیاسی بوده‌ است. همبستگی متغیرهای عملکرد قوه مجریه، تصور از ویژگی‌های مسئولان، و عملکرد نهادها با مشارکت سیاسی منفعلانه مثبت و معنی‌دار، اما در نوع فعالانه مشارکت، تنها همبستگی متغیر تصور از ویژگی‌های مسئولان با آن مثبت و معنی‌دار بوده است.  }, keywords_fa = {passive political participation,active political participation,Institutional Trust,Shiraz city}, url = {https://rahbordfarhangi.csr.ir/article_125896.html}, eprint = {https://rahbordfarhangi.csr.ir/article_125896_72faa6828ecad5bc861562ba24b7efce.pdf} }
