Using a conceptual approach and a case study of the documents of the concept of social freedom as a modern concept, in verses related to the three issues of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, the necessity of jihad and non-compulsion in religion were examined and the results of all three interpretations were compared. Tafsir al-Manar by Muhammad Abduh, with its empirically rationalist approach to liberal thought, relates social freedom to two other commentators. Seyyed Qutb and Allameh Tabatabai have a maximum approach to Islam and consider social freedom valid in the form of Islamic society. With a liberal view, Mohammad Abdo is on one side of the spectrum, and Allameh Tabatabai, by accepting social freedom within the limits of Islamic law, is in front of Mohammad Abdo, and Seyyed Qutb is close to Allameh, with a slight difference. %U https://rahbordfarhangi.csr.ir/article_158192_84c9217fbcbc86e28bcf563c03de58af.pdf
