Religion has played an important role in history of sociological thought and there have been difference of opinions about the future of this phenomenon. Most of sociologists who have contributed to sociology of religion agreed that religion was losing its social and cultural significance and so secularization was inevitable. They have believed that religion was nothing but illusion of man's mind, and finally rationality and science will dominate the world. Not only classics but also modern sociologists have made important contribution to this idea. On the other side, what happened in real world also verified their idea. But some events gradually happened that secularization thesis was unable to explain them. The religion was getting his power back. So there was a need for a new paradigm and new theory for explaining the resurrection of religion. So the paradigm of "religion as a rational choice" has emerged. Sociologists who contribute to this paradigm use economical metaphors for explaining the religious behaviors of people. They reject the secularization thesis and state that religion will retain his pivotal role in human beings life. In this article we want to describe this results and implications.

The purpose of this article was to evaluate the factors influencing rumor adoption in Tehran, Iran. This study focused on the phenomenon of rumor adoption. A theoretical framework and analytical model was developed using the Raymond Bodoni theory. The methodology used was a descriptive-explanatory survey. Data was collected by a questionnaire with formal and construct validity and reliability (80% Cronbach's alpha). Participants included members of 2406590 households living in twenty districts of Tehran; using Cochran formula, the samples (384) were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. To analyze the data using descriptive and inferential methods and statistical software, the matrix table was developed and the data was set into one-dimensional and two-dimensional tables. The findings indicated that situation effects, relation effects and vision effects on rumor adoption are positive. There was a significant relationship between age and education and rumor adoption, while no significant relationship was found between gender and rumor adoption. Ambiguity and significance influenced rumor adoption. Political rumor was more adopted. People followed by satellite channels were the most effective sources of rumor on rumor adoption.

Recognizing and analyzing energy consumption patterns in social aspect, is the subject of this article. The results of this study showed that, any changes in stable energy consumption behavior require necessary changes in attitudes. Also the results of several studies conducted in other countries on structures with optimum designs have shown that the success of technological designs to reduce energy consumption largely depends on the attitudes and behavior of consumers of these technologies. With regard to the outcomes of this study and the authors’ opinions, voluntary approaches that is affected by the attitude to energy as a national capital, is considered the most effective way to reduce energy consumption and optimize energy consumption processes, rather than forced or compulsory approaches which are of course prescribed the same for all groups.

In the present article, we seek to figure out what variables determine per capita water use and how these variables are related. The population considered for this survey is the citizens dwelling in District 3 of the Water and Wastewater Company (WWC) of Tehran, Iran. The data gathering process for the study began with collecting the detailed consumption records of all the company's subscribers. Also a questionnaire was designed by the researchers by which 325 households were asked to give information of their consumption patterns. As the results indicate, the more water efficiency and sense of responsibility increase in families, the more per capita consumption reduces. Results also show that there is no significant correlation between per capita water consumption and other variables (trust for Water and Wastewater Company, awareness and knowledge about water consumption, WWC promotional activities, and institutional trust) considered in the present study.
