Investigating lived experiences and factors affecting family violence in new generation families (Couples less than 30 years old) Ilam city

Abstract
Family violence is an act based on which a person causes physical or mental harm to another person, intentionally, within the family. In this regard; The aim of the research is to "investigate the lived experiences of violence in the families of the new generation" and its dominant theoretical approach is functionalism, contrastive and integrated approach. The research method is qualitative. The sample size is a combination of four groups of five people (including 1 counselor, 1 worker, and 3 victims of violence), which is a total of 20 people. The sampling method of the research was targeted and in the form of snowball. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview with limited questions. According to the research findings; Types of violence in families of the new generation of Ilam include men's violence against women, women against men, parents against babies and children, and violence against the spouse's family. also; Techniques of violence include: neglect (economic sex), betrayal and entering into extramarital relations, practical violence (beating, breaking or cutting off members), psychological and verbal violence (slander of treason and neglect, cursing), economic violence (not paying money, threatening to deprive of inheritance). Finally, that; Men's desire for power, marriage without love, interference from people around them, virtual space and tendency to extramarital relationships, economic problems, changes in the structure of relationships and power in the family, addiction, especially industrial drug addiction, and weak social support for victims of family violence in families. The new generation of Ilam city is effective.
