Abstract
Today, development is a multi-dimensional and complex flow that includes the quantitative and qualitative growth of products and services, the transformation of the quality of life and the social fabric of society, and the provision of general welfare, and the endogenous scientific and technological growth in a given society. The main goal of this research was to investigate the effect of administrative discipline on the socio-political development of Ahvaz metropolis with the approach of structural equations. The research method was a descriptive survey and the statistical population was all the employees of Khuzestan Governorate and Ahvaz Metropolitan Governorate. The research method was a descriptive survey and the statistical population was all the employees of Khuzestan Governorate and Ahvaz Metropolitan Governorate. Statistical sample using Cochran's formula, 123 people were selected by simple random sampling method. In order to collect data, questionnaires of 52 questions made by researchers on social development, 20 questions on political development and 15 questions on administrative discipline by Cornelius (1999) were used. Their validity was confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis and reliability through Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability. Data analysis was done using spss and pls software and by structural equation model analysis at two descriptive and inferential levels. The results of the structural equations show that managerial discipline with the path coefficient (0.486) and the T value (4.44) has an effect on the political development of Ahvaz metropolis. Also, individual discipline with path coefficient (1.188) and T value (2.595), managerial discipline with path coefficient (0.496) and T value (7.620) and team discipline with path coefficient (0.292) and The value of T (4.639) has an effect on the social development of Ahvaz metropolis.
