Compilation of criteria for evaluating the cultural and social performance of universities: a research based on meta-synthesis

Abstract
Cultivation and excellence of the character of students and their education as the future generation of the society in which they should be actively present and interact has always been of interest and the aspects related to it have somehow found themselves in the cultural, social and educational field of this It shows the reference institution in the society.Therefore, it is important to identify the performance indicators of universities in this field, and the purpose of this research is to identify the dimensions, components, and indicators of the cultural and social performance of Iranian universities. The current research has been carried out with documentary and meta-composite method. Sandelowski and Barroso's seven-step metacomposition method was used for data analysis. Glynn's tool (2006) was also used to evaluate the quality of ultracomposition. In total, based on the resource search strategy, 52 sources out of 571 sources were suitable for the final synthesis, and among these sources, 8 dimensions, 31 components and 64 indicators were identified and approved by experts in this field. The findings of the present research showed that the dimensions of important tasks, interactions and communications, programs, university groups, management system, infrastructures and facilities, special activities of professors and employees and finally, content productions, on the evaluation of cultural performance and The university community is effective. The results of the present research have the ability to be used in order to evaluate the performance and cultural and social ranking of Iranian universities in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
