Social and Cultural Strategies of the University towards Children and Adolescents: A Study of Iranian Legal Documents

Abstract
The present study "Social and Cultural Strategies of the University towards Children and Adolescents: A Study of Iranian Legal Documents" was conducted with the aim of identifying the university's social and cultural strategies towards children and adolescents in Iran.
The present research method is qualitative and, with a document analysis research design, attempts were made to search, review, select, and analyze relevant documents. The analyses show that the comprehensive action plan is the most important document in relation to the subject of the present study.
The results show that the university institution in Iran has few strategies that are directly and indirectly defined to take measures for children and adolescents. The analysis of the aforementioned strategies indicates the very important role of the university and academic elites in the field of children and adolescents; because the aforementioned stratum does not have the ability to act, agency, and independent awareness compared to other strata and needs a representative and proxy activist on their behalf, activists who, with awareness and self-expression, can fulfill their public responsibility towards children and adolescents and also demand the contribution of society. Therefore, it is necessary for the university institution to pay more attention to the university's connection with society in the field of children and adolescents and to adopt codified programs and policies in relation to the aforementioned group.
