Studying the cultural strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of population policy of the country

Abstract
The role of culture in demographic changes is vital and influential. The purpose of this research is to investigate the cultural strategies for constructing the future of the country's population based on the cultural requirements of the society. Therefore, it tries to answer this question What are the strengths and weaknesses of cultural strategies in the field of population policy?
This research is practical and with the qualitative method and SWAT model, it is tried to identify and describe the strengths and weaknesses of cultural strategies in the field of population policies, as well as the opportunities and threats of the external environment. In describing the strengths and weaknesses, the text of general population policies and upstream documents and experts' opinions are used. Today's cultural threats to the society are also identified and analyzed based on the modernization theory. Then, the recommended strategies are presented focusing on cultural weaknesses and threats. The method of collecting information is also a library.
The results of the research illustrate that the future of population growth policies in terms of the cultural situation of the society (i.e. the external environment) is in a defensive state. In other words, this situation is caused by the dominance of the weaknesses of population policies over the strengths (internal factors) and the dominance of cultural threats over opportunities (external factors). The gap between the current realities of the society and cultural policies, the quantitative view and lack of attention to cultural barriers, etc., were among the most important internal weaknesses of cultural policies and strategies for population growth. Modern cultural components such as individualism, consumerism, hedonism, carnality and replacing animals instead of having children are also the most important threats to population growth, which is far from the ideal situation. In this regard, strategies such as paying attention to the level of cultural acceptance of families, building cultural trust, investing in selection skills in the face of new cultural developments, the necessity of conducting Cultural Amish and planning based on density and cultural differences are suggested.
