Abstract
In the framework of the current world system, many countries have realized the importance of creating and promoting the appropriate national image of their country. So that all governments, companies and individuals choose appropriate strategies to improve their global image and take appropriate actions based on that. Paying attention to nation branding and choosing targeted strategies in order to create a worthy nation brand creates many different opportunities for the country. In general, the positive and international image of a country, apart from its popularity and attractiveness, also refers to wider dimensions such as economy, culture, art, politics, etc.
In this research, we tried to obtain the components of the optimal national image from the perspective of Ayatollah Khamenei as a religious thinker and the leader of the Islamic Revolution, using documentary and library methods, in order to promote the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international arena based on these components. For this purpose, with the method of thematic analysis, we reached 6 dimensions of the optimal nation image from the perspective of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, which include "Pure Islam: the new and attractive logic of the Islamic Republic", "Principles and policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran", "Iran, the center and axis of resistance", "Iran with a rich history, culture and civilization", "characteristics of the Iranian nation" and then "territorial capacities and characteristics of Iran" and then we extracted the components of the ideal national image from his point of view, which includes 34 components.
