Sociological analysis of the consequences of family role in sports socialization: a qualitative study

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to sociologically analyze and explain the consequences of the role of the family in sports socialization in volleyball. The current research method is qualitative with foundation data method and Glazer's approach and is exploratory. The statistical population of the current research is the professors and faculty members of the university in the fields of sociology, sports sociology who have the necessary expertise and familiarity in the field of research and research and who at least have articles, books, educational and research experience or teaching experience in this field. have the domain and also were international volleyball coaches and players. The sampling method was used as non-probability sampling, with targeted selection and with maximum diversity or heterogeneity. The sample size in this research was equal to 14 people based on the theoretical saturation index. The measurement tool was an open interview and was analyzed based on three stages of open, central and selective coding. The results include 4 main categories such as increasing the socialization of sports, accepting and implementing sports culture in the family, controlling emotional emotions and achieving a healthy society, feeling satisfied, achieving personal goals and a healthy society; And 3 sub-categories such as strengthening relationships within the family, strengthening support within the family and increasing the level of family awareness were identified.
