Abstract
The present study, titled "Strong Schools, Strong Sports, Strong Iran: Analyzing the Social and Economic Impacts on Sports Achievements with Emphasis on Scientific Authority and National Issue Resolution," aims to analyze the social and economic impacts on sports achievements, particularly in strengthening scientific authority and solving national issues. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach based on grounded theory. The study population includes individuals with expertise in sports, education, and social and economic sciences, and a purposive and snowball sampling method was used to select interviewees. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding. The findings indicate that several factors, such as sports skill training, organizational support, continuous performance evaluation, motivation, sports culture development, and sports infrastructure, influence sports achievements. Additionally, supportive laws and media play a key role in the development of sports. In this context, the availability of appropriate sports facilities, the creation of educational programs for students and athletes, and financial support for sports programs were suggested. The results of this study emphasize the need for a comprehensive and coordinated approach to enhance sports activities in schools and society in order to achieve national success in the sports arena. Further recommendations include the development of educational programs, securing financial resources for school sports, and creating job opportunities in this field. These results can contribute to strengthening and developing physical education programs in schools and improving the state of sports in the country.
