Identifying and analyzing the factors affecting the work culture among the youth of Ilam province

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the factors affecting the work culture among the youth of Ilam province and using a mixed methodology of quantity and quality. The research had two statistical populations of youth and elites. Considering the social, economic and social characteristics, Ilam townships were divided into two groups and three townships were randomly selected from each group. Using Cochran's formula, 385 young people and 96 elite people were estimated as a statistical sample and studied by stratified random sampling with proportional assignment. Data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed using the views of 5 faculty members of Ilam University and its reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha. Using factor analysis technique, the contexts of low work culture among the youth of Ilam province in seven factors: socio-political alienation, political, economic and social injustice, social dissatisfaction, market and economic disorder, social norms and anomalies, inequality of education system with the needs of the labor market and psychological characteristics, were categorized. The results of path analysis also showed that political, economic and social injustice was the most important variable that both directly and indirectly affected the low work culture among the province's youth and the effect of other variables was due to the effect of this variable.
