Identifying the dimensions and components of improving social interactions with an emphasis on the role of virtual media

Abstract

Social interactions play an important role in individual, group and organizational performance. For this reason, creating a favorable interaction model is vital for business success. On the other hand, in today's world, which is named as the age of communication, the role of virtual social media in improving communication and increasing social links is obvious. Based on this, this research has been carried out with the aim of Identifying the dimensions and components of improving social interactions with an emphasis on the role of virtual media. The research has a quantitative approach and is applied in terms of purpose and survey in terms of data collection. The statistical population under study is the employees of the Broadcasting Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, numbering (n=48000) people, using Cochran's table and random sampling method, 381 people were considered as a statistical sample. Also, 12 media management experts were selected through targeted sampling to form an expert panel. The data collection tool is questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed by the coefficients of CVR=0.69 and CVI=0.87. The reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha (0.85). The results showed that the desired level of social interaction is 2.85 and it is achieved when the level of trust is 2.88, communication is 2.44 and coordination is 2.26. This means that trust is the most important dimension of social interactions. Also, based on the results, the most important function of the media in order to increase trust is to reflect demands.
