The present article critically examines the concept of structural holes in social networks with a particular focus on Chapter Seven of the television program "Hosseinieh Mo’alla "on the Instagram platform. It aims to redefine the concept of "structural holes" within the indigenous cultural-religious framework of Islamic societies and proposes the approach of "Islamic Network Analysis" Employing a qualitative-combinative methodology that includes Qualitative Social Network Analysis (QSNA), thematic analysis, and multi-source content analysis, the study investigates the relational structure, the role of intermediaries, and the impact of network gaps on information flow and identity cohesion within the network. The research findings reveal that network gaps divide into two types: Resolutive and problematic. Resolutive gaps act as opportunities for innovation and the deepening of communication among groups, whereas problematic gaps result in social fragmentation, the emergence of structural holes, and ultimately the network's disintegration. Thus, the intelligent management of these gaps by spiritual, cultural, and media intermediaries is crucial for preserving political-religious cohesion and legitimacy. Finally, the Islamic Network Analysis approach, besides advancing scientific understanding, can also pave the way for practical cultural and media policy-making to strengthen religious cohesion and prevent sectarian crises.
