Rural areas did not develop with the expansion and growth of urbanization and somehow faced backwardness. This caused various social and economic problems in the villages. One of the things that can affect the social-economic development of villages is the formation of a rural market. The purpose of this study is to investigate the social-economic factors affecting the need to create a rural market in the Bahar Hamedan. The method of this research is survey and the data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical population of this study consists of residents of villages in the Bahar Hamedan, from which 450 people were selected as a sample size through multi-stage cluster sampling for interview.The results of this study showed that the establishment of a market for the sale of villagers products is essential from the perspective of villagers in the Bahar Hamedan. The results also showed that there is a negative relationship between income economic and social security and the need to create a market. In other words, people with lower incomes and lower social and economic security emphasize the need to create a market.
